Prof. Ahmad Abdel-Aziz Sharieh, PhD is a Full Professor of Computer Science at the King Abdullah II School for Information Technology, University of Jordan. He earned his PhD in Computer and Information Sciences from Florida State University, USA, and holds master’s and bachelor’s degrees in Computer Science and Mathematics from universities in the USA and Jordan. Prof. Sharieh has held several senior academic and administrative positions, including Dean of Sur University College and Dean of the King Abdullah II School for Information Technology at the University of Jordan. His research interests include cloud computing, computational intelligence, network security, distributed and parallel systems, modeling, Pathfinding and simulation, and optimization techniques.
