Assist. Prof. Dr. Ali Jafar is a Clinical Assistant Professor of Otolaryngology–Head and Neck Surgery at Kuwait University, specializing in facial plastic and reconstructive surgery, rhinology, and skull base surgery. He completed advanced fellowships in Facial Plastics and Reconstructive Surgery and Neuro-Rhinology and Skull Base Surgery at the University of Texas Health Science Center, McGovern School of Medicine. Dr. Jafar completed his Otolaryngology–Head and Neck Surgery residency at the University of Ottawa, Canada, and holds an MSc in Surgical and Interventional Sciences from University College London. He earned his medical degree with First Class Honors from the Royal College of Surgeons in Dublin. His clinical experience includes service as a staff physician at Queensway Carleton Hospital in Ottawa and earlier roles within Kuwait’s Ministry of Health. He is licensed to practice medicine in Texas, Rhinology, Ontario, and Kuwait and is actively involved in medical education and academic clinical practice.
