Prof. Francesco Tajani is an Italian academic specializing in economic valuation, urban and territorial development, and real estate appraisal. He is a Professor of II Fascia at the Department of Architecture and Design, Faculty of Architecture, Sapienza University of Rome, within the scientific disciplinary sector CEAR-03/C. He holds a Laurea in Civil Engineering with honors from the University of Salerno, a European Master’s degree in Territorial Planning and Real Estate Markets from the Polytechnic University of Turin, and a Ph.D. in Economic Evaluation of Projects from the University “Mediterranea” of Reggio Calabria, with research focused on real options analysis applied to architectural and environmental heritage investments. His academic career includes research and teaching appointments at Sapienza University of Rome, the Polytechnic University of Bari, and the University of Salerno. Prof. Tajani has obtained National Scientific Qualification for both second- and first-level professorships in the competitive sector of infrastructure, transport systems, Decarbonisation and valuation. His research interests include financial feasibility analysis, urban regeneration, social housing, infrastructure evaluation, and decision-support models for public and private investments.
