Mr. Ardan Zhanegizov is an emerging researcher in Machine Learning and Computer Vision specialist based in Almaty, Qazaqstan, with strong academic and practical experience in AI-driven data analysis and software engineering. He holds a Master’s degree in Computer Science from the University of Wollongong, Australia, supported by the Bolashak Scholarship, and a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from Nazarbayev University. His expertise spans machine learning, computer vision, data mining, Biomedicine and deep learning, with hands-on experience using PyTorch, TensorFlow, Keras, and OpenCV. His capstone project focused on Sign Language Recognition, achieving high accuracy on ASL and Auslan datasets, alongside research in Human Action Recognition and sentiment analysis. Currently working as a Machine Learning Engineer at the Institute of Information and Computational Technologies, he contributes to AI models for medical image analysis and signal processing. His background also includes cloud deployment, DevOps practices, and prior roles in software quality assurance and research assistance, with a published article on facial expression recognition using edge computing.
