Dr. Ankush Saxena | Condensed Matter Physics | Best Researcher Award

National Cheng Kung University | Taiwan

Dr. Ankush Saxena is a postdoctoral fellow at the program on key materials, National Cheng Kung University, Tainan, Taiwan , with a distinguished background in experimental condensed matter physics. He earned his Ph.d. from the national physical laboratory, New Delhi, India, where his doctoral research, titled “Insertion of atomic layers in bulk topological materials,” focused on the synthesis and study of quantum and topological materials. With many years of research experience, he has developed deep expertise in crystal growth, structural characterization, and transport analysis of materials such as topological insulators, Weyl semimetals, Condensed Matter Physics and magnetic Van Der Waals systems. His pioneering work on MN-based tetradymite compounds and thermoelectric layered materials has advanced understanding of spintronic and thermoelectric properties. Before joining NCKU, he served as a postdoctoral fellow at national Sun Yat-Sen University, Kaohsiung, Taiwan. Dr. Saxena has authored 8 scientific documents, which have collectively received 71 citations across 60 papers, reflecting an h-index of 5. A gold medalist and recipient of the inspire fellowship and inspire scholarship from India’s department of science and technology, he continues to contribute to advancing research in topological materials, quantum systems, and their applications in next-generation electronic and spintronic devices.
