Chigozie Charity Okwuwa is a Chemical and Process Engineer and PhD researcher specializing in sustainable materials, catalysis, and advanced polymer composites. Her research focuses on developing low-temperature homogeneous catalysts for degrading polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons and designing nanocellulose-reinforced biocomposites for pharmaceutical applications. With experience as a graduate research assistant and academic instructor, she has applied advanced materials characterization and molecular modeling techniques to optimize functional biomaterials. She has contributed to international conference publications and interdisciplinary research activities, while actively supporting laboratory training, curriculum development, Voice and Gesture Recognition and student mentorship in chemical and process engineering.
