Dr. Yu Saito, m.d., ph.d., facs, is a distinguished japanese surgeon and academic currently serving as a senior lecturer in the department of surgery at tokushima university, Japan. With over a decade of professional experience, he has held key positions including assistant professor and research fellow at tokushima university and visiting fellow at the division of transplantation, karolinska institutet, Sweden. His clinical and research expertise lies in hepato-pancreato-biliary surgery, minimally invasive surgery, and liver transplantation. dr. saito has authored 158 scientific documents, which have collectively received 2,716 citations across 2,454 referencing papers, reflecting his impactful contributions to surgical science and innovation.
