Mr. Ali Ghossein | Knee Surgery | Excellence in Healthcare Robotics

Artemed Krankenhaus Düren | Germany

Mr. Ali Ghossein is a Dutch consultant orthopedic trauma surgeon and robotic knee specialist, currently serving as Department Leader of Joint Replacement and Section Leader for Joint Replacement in Düren. He previously worked as a Consultant Orthopedic Trauma Surgeon in Geilenkirchen, undertook specialist orthopedic trauma training at the University of Aachen, and simultaneously serves as a pre-hospital emergency physician. He holds an MSc in Medicine from the University of Maastricht, and has implemented two robotic knee surgery programmes in hospitals in Germany, mastering both conventional and robotic knee joint replacement (unicondylar and revision), Knee Surgery as well as arthroscopies and general (child) trauma. He is also Chairman of the Taskforce QRS (Netherlands), which organises CPR training in secondary schools. According to public scholarly databases, his publication count is modest ≈ 7 works with a predicted h-index of 1 and citation count around 6; for example one ResearchGate record lists 8 works and 6 citations. Although early in his academic publishing career, Dr. Ghossein’s clinical leadership in robotic knee surgery and trauma positions him as a practitioner with a unique blend of high-tech surgical innovation and medical education commitment.
