Ms. Nina Vitlov is a doctoral fellow in the PhD program Translational Research in Biomedicine at the University of Split School of Medicine, Croatia. She holds a Master’s degree in Forensic Chemistry and Molecular Biology from the University of Split and a Bachelor’s degree in Underwater Science and Technology from the University of Zadar. She has been working as a Doctoral Fellow at the Department of Research in Biomedicine and Health, where her activities include research design, literature review, data collection and analysis, and participation in scientific workshops and conferences. She is proficient in statistical analysis and digital research tools. In addition to research, she contributes to teaching through practical classes and seminars in Scientific Research, Research in Biomedicine and Health, Human-Centered Robot Design and Mathematics and Biostatistics for students of Medicine, Dental Medicine, and Pharmacy.

Dr. Djamel Boussaa | Human-Centered Robot Design | Research Excellence Award

Dr. Djamel Boussaa is an Associate Professor in the Department of Architecture and Urban Planning at the College of Engineering, Qatar University. He holds a PhD in Architecture from the University of Liverpool, an MPhil from the University of York, and a BSc in Architecture from EPAU, Algiers. With extensive academic and professional experience across the Middle East, Europe, and North Africa, he has served in teaching, research, and leadership roles at Qatar University, UAE University, University of Bahrain, and University of Blida. His research focuses on urban and architectural conservation, Islamic architecture, urban regeneration, cultural identity, sustainable tourism, Human-Centered Robot Design and traditional architecture. Dr. Boussaa has received multiple academic and research awards, including the Dean’s Award for Excellence and several QNRF grants, and has significant consulting experience in architectural design and supervision.
