Prof. Steven Weidong Su is a Professor of Control Engineering and Medical Informatics with many years of academic experience across Australia and China. He holds a PhD in Control Engineering from the Australian National University and is currently affiliated with the University of Technology Sydney, FEIT, while serving as Associate Dean Teaching & Research at Shandong First Medical University. His research focuses on rehabilitation robotics, medical artificial intelligence, biomedical signal processing, Rehabilitation Robot and human–machine co-adaptation. Professor Su has led more than 15 competitive national and international research projects and has published over 100 peer-reviewed journal papers indexed in SCI/Scopus, with more than 5,000 citations. He holds multiple patents in rehabilitation robots and wearable sensing technologies, has authored a research monograph, and serves in editorial and senior program committee roles for leading international conferences and journals.

Assoc. Prof. Dr. Dimitrios Stasinopoulos is an Associate Professor of Physiotherapy at the University of West Attica, Greece, with extensive academic and clinical experience in musculoskeletal rehabilitation. He earned his PhD from Leeds Metropolitan University, focusing on the treatment of lateral epicondylitis, following an MSc in Physiotherapy from the University of Manchester and a BSc in Physiotherapy from the Technological Education Institute of Athens. His academic career includes appointments as Associate and Assistant Professor at the University of West Attica and the European University Cyprus. Dr. Stasinopoulos has substantial clinical experience, having worked for over a decade as a physiotherapist and clinic manager in Athens. He has completed advanced postgraduate training in orthopaedic medicine, sports rehabilitation, manual therapy, physiotherapy and clinical education, including certification in the Cyriax concept. He has also participated in scientific committees and professional symposiums, contributing actively to physiotherapy education and research.

His doctoral research, titled “Biochemistry, ecotoxicity, and pathophysiology of the venom of selected Buthid species, and therapeutic approaches to scorpion envenomation,” focuses on analyzing venom composition, evaluating its ecological and toxicological impacts, Neuroscience and exploring potential therapeutic strategies for managing envenomation. He has developed solid expertise in experimental research methods related to venom analysis and toxicology, supported by strong skills in scientific writing and publication in indexed international journals. With a growing research profile and commitment to advancing venom biochemistry and toxicological sciences, Adil aims to contribute to deeper scientific understanding and improved medical approaches related to scorpion envenomation.
