Prof. Tingting Yu is an Associate Professor at the Shien-Ming Wu School of Intelligent Engineering, South China University of Technology, Guangzhou, China. She earned her B.Sc. degree in computational physical chemistry and M.Sc. degree in chemical engineering and physical chemistry from the Technical University of Darmstadt, Germany, and her Ph.D. in physical chemistry from the University of Stuttgart in collaboration with the Max Planck Institute for Intelligent Systems. Her research focuses on micro- and nanorobotics, nanofabrication, Nano Robots and intelligent control of micro–nano systems. She has led and participated in several national and provincial research projects, including the NSFC Youth Program and Guangdong Regional Joint projects, where she serves as Principal Investigator. Her work emphasizes the fabrication of 3D nanostructures, micro-mass sensing feedback, directional deposition techniques, and light-responsive micro-nanomotors. Through her research, she contributes to advancing intelligent engineering and nanoscale device innovation.
