Assist. Prof. Dr. Ali Jafar is a Clinical Assistant Professor of Otolaryngology–Head and Neck Surgery at Kuwait University, specializing in facial plastic and reconstructive surgery, rhinology, and skull base surgery. He completed advanced fellowships in Facial Plastics and Reconstructive Surgery and Neuro-Rhinology and Skull Base Surgery at the University of Texas Health Science Center, McGovern School of Medicine. Dr. Jafar completed his Otolaryngology–Head and Neck Surgery residency at the University of Ottawa, Canada, and holds an MSc in Surgical and Interventional Sciences from University College London. He earned his medical degree with First Class Honors from the Royal College of Surgeons in Dublin. His clinical experience includes service as a staff physician at Queensway Carleton Hospital in Ottawa and earlier roles within Kuwait’s Ministry of Health. He is licensed to practice medicine in Texas, Rhinology, Ontario, and Kuwait and is actively involved in medical education and academic clinical practice.

Dr. Irene García Camacha Gutiérrez is an Associate Professor of Statistics and Operations Research in the Department of Mathematics at the University of Castilla-La Mancha, a position she has held. He holds a Laurea in Civil Engineering with honors from the University of Salerno, a European Master’s degree in Territorial Planning and Real Estate Markets from the Polytechnic University of Turin, and a Ph.D. in Economic Evaluation of Projects from the University “Mediterranea” of Reggio Calabria, with research focused on real options analysis applied to architectural and environmental heritage investments. His academic career includes research and teaching appointments at Sapienza University of Rome, the Polytechnic University of Bari, and the University of Salerno. Prof. Tajani has obtained National Scientific Qualification for both second- and first-level professorships in the competitive sector of infrastructure, transport systems, Decarbonisation and valuation. His research interests include financial feasibility analysis, urban regeneration, social housing, infrastructure evaluation, and decision-support models for public and private investments.

Dr. Peter Williams is an independent researcher and retired Senior Lecturer in Technology Enhanced Learning at the University of Hull, United Kingdom, where he served until 2020. He was an early pioneer in the design and management of online courses and blended learning, particularly for small businesses, and later led staff development initiatives in blended learning and ICT. He designed and directed degree programs in educational technology and is recognized as a University Teaching Fellow and a Senior Fellow of the Higher Education Academy, UK. Dr. Williams successfully co-supervised eight doctoral students researching the application of new technologies in learning, teaching, and assessment, and has served as an external examiner for PhD awards. His doctoral research examined management issues in e-learning within universities, later specializing in the impact of emerging technologies on assessment in higher education. His single-authored publications address knowledge development in higher education, graduate competencies, learning analytics, blockchain-based micro-credentials, artificial intelligence, hybrid intelligence, and human-agentic AI systems for learning and assessment. He has supported digital education at the University of Leeds, served as an external examiner at the University of Malta, peer-reviewed over 30 journal articles, Safe Human-Robot Collaboration and currently serves on the editorial boards of Education Sciences and Artificial Intelligence and Education.

Dr. Adeola’s work spans the discovery of genetic markers for disease resistance - including African Swine Fever Virus and prion-related diseases - mapping adaptive evolution in African livestock, and applying genomic tools to document biodiversity and phylogeographic patterns in vertebrates. He also develops innovative genomic technologies, such as target-capture sequencing platforms, to enhance pathogen surveillance and conservation research.
